Books
Sorry, no "real" pictures this time 'round. Nothing to take a picture of. I suppose we could have taken a snapshot of the house we are housesitting in right now. It's the CTS Dean's, quite nice over on the West edge of town. It's close to downtown than we are so getting to work, while on a bus, is somewhat quicker. However, I currently am "bookless" so those trips seem longer than they might otherwise.
I had a book that I was reading that was somewhat work related (the "killer app" book). It's more than a little outdated (pre-bubble bursting) and you can hear the "rah rah internet" in the background as you read. I want to get over to Chapters again to buy another book that is somewhat work related--I find that reading books en route to work helps wake up my mind for work, so I look doing it. This I keep separate from my evening reading.
Speaking of evening reading, thanks for the Christmas gift Mom & Dad. I finally made my selection and I used the gift-certificate from Chapters that you gave me. "Great Canadian Speeches". Various and sundry Canadians and some important moments in Canadian history. I'm listening to an interview with the author right now. I haven't yet started this book (I don't want to start into a speech and not be able to finish it), but I will likely "pick at it", a speech at a time, on days off (one of which I should take this week) and other relaxing times. Looks to be quite inspring, I'm very excited to read it. Thanks.
